Alkyl Polyglucoside

Alkyl Polyglucoside (APG) is a nonionic surfactant, and its raw materials such as glucose and high-carbon alcohol, are all from natural renewable materials and belong to a natural, mild and green product.

 Alkyl Polyglucoside models include APG0810 (Decyl Glucoside), APG0814, APG1214, APG0816, APG1216, APG1618, APG06, APG08 and APG10. Alkyl Polyglucoside surfactants are all nonionic surfactants with excellent performance and a wide range of applications. The main difference between them is the different carbon chain lengths, which leads to differences in performance and application areas. It should be selected according to the specific application requirements and product specifications when we choose to use. Among them, Decyl Glucoside (APG-0810) has the fastest foaming and has a better cleaning effect on carbon black stains and sebum stains. APG-1214 has a weaker ability to remove protein stains, but can improve the softness of cotton fabrics. APG-0814 has balanced comprehensive performance and is suitable for products that need to take into account foam, stain removal and mildness (such as multi-functional cleaners, neutral detergents). All three are easy to compound with other surfactants, but APG-0810 has better solubility in strong acid, strong alkali and high electrolyte environments. APG-06 has stronger resistance to strong acid and strong alkali. APG-08 is suitable for strong alkaline cleaning scenarios (such as metal degreasing and steel plate cleaning). APG-10 environmentally friendly detergent (replaces traditional LAS/AES, improves mildness and hard water resistance).

‌‌‌‌Alkyl Polyglucoside is used in various cosmetics, industrial cleaning agents, textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries, vegetable and fruit cleaning agents, dishwashing detergents, children's shampoo, adult shampoo, bath gel and other daily chemical products. In addition, Alkyl Polyglucoside is widely used as pesticide emulsifier, dispersant, insecticide and herbicide synergist. APG can also be used in coatings, photosensitive materials, leather making, oil production, mineral processing, etc.
