Fischer-tropsch wax

Fischer-tropsch wax is produced by coal-based fischer-tropsch synthesis process, with a molecular weight of 800-1000 or so,

 mainly straight-chain paraffin wax, and the melting point of 52, 60, 70, 80, 95, 100, 110 and other product models are 

separated by distillation in the later stage to meet the application needs of different industries. Fischer-tropscher wax has 

lower price compared with polyethylene wax Currently in the application of PVC processing lubricant, Fischer-tropscher wax

 has basically replaced paraffin wax, oligomer wax, especially in PVC heat stabilizer, now it is rarely useful to paraffin wax, 

and oligomer wax.

Fischer Tropsch wax application: Fischer Tropsch wax can be used for PVC film, profile, pipe, plastic processing.

1.  PVC profiles, tubing;

2.  powder coating resin;

3.  EVA base hot melt adhesive;

4.  rubber processing;

5.  paint ink;

6.  filled masterbatch, defoamer;

7.  Fiber products.

Fischer-tropsch wax, also known as Fischer-Tropsch synthetic wax. It has the characteristics of high melting point, low 

viscosity, high hardness and so on, and has excellent performance in many application fields.

Main application characteristics: can be widely used in surface grease, hot melt glue, plastic material lubrication, demold, 

PVC pipe, profile, ink, paint, polish wax, color master, rubber, candle, textile, food packaging materials, cosmetic raw 

materials, electronic components, polishing materials, waterproof materials and so on.

Fischer-tropsch wax is saturated direct alkane, without double bond, with strong oxidation resistance and good weather 

resistance.

What are the functions of Fischer-Tropsch wax?

1. Fischer-tropscher wax can be applied to plastic processing, such as injection molding, extrusion and granulation 

industries.

2. In the production process of color masterbatch and modified plastic, when mixing of the filler, Fischer-Tropsch wax is 

helpful to the dispersion and excellent smoothness.

3. Fischer-tropsch wax can be used as PVC external lubricant, its low viscosity can improve the production speed of the 

product, in the mixing it is helpful to the dispersion of the filler, especially in the extrusion of high viscosity system it has a 

better job,  its dosage is 40-50% less than ordinary PE wax but it can significantly improve the surface luster of the product.

4. In the use of thick color, the melting Fischer-tropsch wax can also effectively wet the dye, reduce the extrusion viscosity.

The viscosity of Fischer-Tropsch wax is much lower than that of polyethylene wax Fischer-tropsch wax has good 

compatibility with PVC, it is competent as both  internal and external lubricant. It can be used as a good internal lubricant 

to effectively control shear conditions, promote flow, control friction and melting properties, thus improving thermal 

stability. At the same time, because of its high crystallinity and high linearity of the structure, it can make PVC products get 

good physical and processing properties. According to the need, the Fischer-Tropsch process can synthesize alkanes with 

different chain lengths to change the molecular weight of the products and form serialized products.
